Join us for a day of sessions with educators, historians, & community leaders as they discuss topics relating to New Deal era programs in Kansas
Come & enjoy one or all of the sessions & help up celebrate those who were a part of the New Deal!

9:15 AM Jeremy Gill, Kansas Room Coordinator
Introduction & presentation on Frontier Park & the New Deal
10:15 AM Guy Windholz, former county commissioner & member of the Ellis County Courthouse Preservation Committee will present on WPA limestone projects in Ellis County
11:15 AM M.J. Holt, award-winning author will discuss the Federal Writer's project & her book, Confessions to Mr. Roosevelt
12:15 PM Kara Heiz, lecturer at the Kansas City Art Institute & film maker, will be discussing New Deal arts programs in Kansas. We will also be screening her new film, "A New Deal for Public Art in a Free State"
