Forsyth Library hosts: The 19th Amendment: 100 Years Centennial Traveling Exhibit

Thursday, February 11, 2021

Commemorating the 100th anniversary of both the 19th Amendment & the League of Women Voters, this exhibit highlights the importance of civic engagement & the history of the suffrage movement in Kansas.

Join us for a live stream event on February 11th at 9am on Facebook & hear from Hollie Marquess, Instructor of History, & Brian Gribben, Coordinator of Government Documents & Special Collections at Forsyth Library, as they share the origins of the suffrage movement & bring the seven-paneled “mobile museum” to life.

Visit The 19th Amendment exhibit on the Main Level in Forsyth Library
from February 1st – 21st.
For building hours, visit the library homepage at

This program is made possible by the League of Women Voters of Kansas & its Centennial Celebration Committee, the FHSU Department of History, & FHSU Forsyth Library.
