Tchaikovsky's Pathetique Symphony is such a passioned lament; "I often wept bitterly while composing it in my head," he said. It is arguably his greatest work, possibly of all symphonic literature, & one which re-invented the form for composers who came after him. Paired with the world premiere of Timothy Roll's "Cassini Overture", & the FHSU Choir's performance of John Rutter's "Gloria", the evening promises to give voice to what makes us human.
