The run is named in honor of the way Jordyn lived her life-FREE. The ninth annual Free Spirit Run is being held in memory of Jordyn Claiborn, who was killed in a car accident September 11, 2009.
All proceeds for the run will benefit the Free Spirit Award at Hays High & the Jordyn Claiborn Memorial Scholarship at the FHSU Herndon Clinic for Speech & Language.
The run will feature a 5K & 10K division as well as a "Free Spirit" division for those who want to make a contribution & set their own distance.
