Tuesday, April 13, 2021
Be an informed leader in the community conversation about COVID-19! Join us for a virtual learning & discussion session led by three local professionals & their combined knowledge on COVID-19.
This session serves as your primer to a comprehensive, 400-minute course provided by Johns-Hopkins University which covers the most critical knowledge of
COVID-19: its origins, clinical signs & symptoms, risk factors, diagnosis, transmission, & the infectious period.
Both during the course between the video modules & after the course, the facilitators will lead a robust discussion driven by participant questions. One popular topic discussed is the risk-benefit mindset unique to each individual. Also covered are the public health impacts & the perspective of an Ellis County Health Department official.
