Come discover the secrets of the earth's past! Inspired by the traveling exhibit in Search of Earth's Secrets, uncover the extraordinary truth of fossils, volcanos, earthquakes, & more!
Most activities will go on throughout the event, but there will be two scheduled activities:
Make Your Own Drill Core: Make your own drill core out of cupcakes! See how researchers collect core samples in a fun & delicious way! This activity will happen at 11 AM & 1 PM; it is a first-come-first-serve activity for the first 20 people in a session.
Video Chat with Scientists from the JOIDES Resolution: Get a chance to video chat with the actual scientists on board the JOIDES Resolution & learn what they are currently researching. This activity begins at 12 PM.
