FHSU Management Development Center Workshop: Project Management Basics

Whether you manage project teams, or are currently a project manager, or a project team member, you understand the need for tools to help coordinate, plan, execute & complete projects on-time & on-budget. This program, offered in conjunction with the Wichita State University Center for Management Development, will give you hands-on experience & real-life applications for some of the most important tools & techniques for project management, including: project charter, work breakdown structure & network diagram.
Materials in this class are based on the Project Management Institute principles.
Key process steps are practiced through team exercises, allowing students to understand how, when & why they should be used. This allows the project manager to create & manage a project plan more efficiently & effectively. You are sure to come away from this training better prepared to confidently manage projects from small to large using the most effective techniques available.
Facilitator: Deann Sullivan, president of Sullivan & Associates, provides business & project management consulting & training. As an instructor for the Center for Management Development at Wichita State University & for Protégé Project Management, she delivers supervisory, leadership & Project Management classes nationwide.
