The Sternberg Firearms Collection, held by the Ellis County Historical Society will be on display through the summer. This collection dates in age from the 1700s through the 1940s, with most falling in the decades between 1840 through 1880. These impressive artifacts have not been on public display for nearly 20 years & will soon return to our vault- please come & see! OVER 180 weapons on display!
The Living History gang of the Society of Friends of Historic Fort Hays is scheduling an event that will jump start & enhance your summer fun!
Step back to the nineteenth century & watch vintage base ball as Mark Eberle, SOF base ball, historian, explains the game, the equipment, uniforms, rules, & customs of the game's early years.
Dancers of Styles Dance Centre of Hays, KS will showcase their hard work & talent at our year-end recital. The beauty & entertainment of our annual Showcase is derived from innovative choreography, strong technique, & the sheer joy of our students on stage.
